My many years of experience in the cruise industry, has taught me that many of you have the desire upon visiting Athens, not only to go sightseeing but also to swim in the beaches of Attica.
Your wish can now become a reality!
After we meet outside your cruise ship, we will pass through the city of Piraeus. Through the coast road, we shall enjoy the spectacular view and make stops for the first pictures ( pict 1 ).
Our next stop is the famous Acropolis ( pict 2 ). During your visit, you will admire the Propylaea, the Erechtheion ( pict 3 ), the Temple of Athena Nike and the imposing temple of Parthenon ( pict 4 ). Also, the theater of Dionysus and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.
We then move on to the Temple of Olympian Zeus (pict 5 ) and the Arch of Hadrian .
We continue with the Panathenaic Stadium ( pict 6 ) where the first Olympic Games in 1896 were held.
Then, comes a must: our drive to the highest point of the city, the Lycabettus Hill which is the best point to admire the view and take spectacular panoramic pictures ( pict 7 ) .
We continue with small stops for photographs at the old Royal Palace, the Zappeion Hall  and the buildings of the Academy, the University, the National Library ( pict 8 )  and the Old Parliament  ( pict 9 ).At exactly the right time, we will be in front of the parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where we will watch the Change of the Presidential Guard ( pict 10 ). 
Then, after a light lunch, we drive to the beach that suits your needs in order to enjoy the blue sea and the bright sun of Greece ( pict 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 ).

  • Lake of Vouliagmeni-Swimming time-Temple of Poseidon
Starting from your cruise ship, and after making two stops at selected points of Piraeus with spectacular view and shooting the first photographs ( pict 1, 2 ), we take the coastal road towards Cape Sounion.
We make our first stop at Vouliagmeni, where you will visit the lake by the same name with its thermal waters
( pict 3 ). We continue our route, passing beautiful coastal villages and enjoying the beautiful beaches. We make two short stops for pictures ( pict 4,5 )and finally we arrive at Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon.
This is the place where Menelaus chose to stop, after the war of Troy, in order to bury his dead ship captain, Frontis.
At Sounion, we shall stay for a coffee or refreshment, and visit, of course. the Temple of Poseidon ( pict 6, 7, 8, ).
Upon completion of our visit, you will have two hours free for swimming , to the beach that suits your needs in order to enjoy the blue sea and the bright sun of Greece (pict 9, 10 ).
