Shore excursion to Cape Sounion and Swimming

Alternative private shore excursion designed for those who have been in Athens before and they wish to make an excursion and they also wish to swim and enjoy the Athenian beaches.                  
 

 

Description

Starting from your cruise ship, and after making two stops at selected points of Piraeus with spectacular view and shooting the first photographs, we take the coastal road towards Cape Sounion.

We make our first stop at Vouliagmeni, where you will visit the lake by the same name with its thermal waters.            

We continue our route, passing beautiful coastal villages and enjoying the beautiful beaches.

We make two short stops for pictures, and finally we arrive at Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon.

This is the place where Menelaus chose to stop, after the war of Troy, in order to bury his dead ship captain, Frontis.    

At Sounion, we shall stay for a coffee or refreshment, and visit, of course. the Temple of Poseidon.

Upon completion of our visit, you will have two hours free for swimming, to the beach that suits your needs in order to enjoy the blue sea and the bright sun of Greece.       

Then your driver will drive you back to your cruise ship
